Wildflower Farm Tilapia
combines the resources of our valley with
advanced aquaponics know-how
to raise great-tasting fish!
The tilapias are the workers at our aquaponics center. An integrated hydroponics and aquaculture system connect spring-fed fish tanks with a greenhouse that recycles nutrient-rich tank water. The plants take up the nutrients, reducing discharges to the environment. The water is then returned to the aquatic environment and the cycle continues.
This seemingly complex process is amazingly simple
and so are the results:
